LADY'S NIGHT Angel Marin continues to get interrogated by an unknown person and is forced to reveal the underbosses of his criminal operations in Blüdhaven. Interestingly, he calls Maxwell Reed "just another lawyer".  Meanwhile on Reed's private yacht, Nightwing confronts the female assassin Lady Vic who uses Reed's little daughter as a hostage. Lady Vic wants the money Angel Marin owes her and she has no problem killing a child to proof her intentions. But Nightwing is able to attack her and take little Maxine Reed away from the action as Reed's guards start firing their again. Floating away on a jollyboat Maxwell Reed witnesses how his beautiful yacht explodes in a blaze of fire. He is in tears because he thinks his daughter is dead, but suddenly Nightwing reaches the surface of the water and he has Maxine with him. Maxwell Reed is thankful that Nightwing saved his daughter, but he only concedes that he is not Angel Marin's consigliore. The name of the real consigliore is not revealed though.   Lady Vic also was able to escape the explosion, but to her dismay she lost her beloved Bundhi daggers during the fight and holds Nightwing responsible for it.   Meanwhile, Dick works his first shift as a barkeeper at "Hogan's Alley" and is disturbed by the fact that policemen drink alcohol there before they go to work. Once more he is convinced that something has to change in Blüdhaven because the ity deserves better. But that may not be easy because Police Chief Delmore Redhorn still wants Nightwing eliminated and Inspector Soames reluctantly agrees. Shortly after meeting the Chief, Soames sees Lady Vic and gives her much more money than Angel Marin actually owed her. The reason is that Soames looks forward to use Lady Vic's deadly services in the future. But for now, Lady Vic leaves Blüdhaven and turns her eyes on Gotham City. And during a party at the Davenport Estate she makes the acquaintance of non other than Bruce Wayne ...
